Welcome to CortexAlpha! These Terms of Service ("Terms") form the legal agreement between you ("User") and the CortexAlpha team ("we" or "CortexAlpha") regarding your access to and use of cortexalpha.cc and related software services (the "Service"). Please read carefully before using.
Core business & disclaimer
CortexAlpha is a pure B2C productivity SaaS tool and digital journal platform.
Not investment advice：All AI-generated feedback, behavioural-neuroscience analysis, and "mentor model" reviews provided by CortexAlpha are for personal learning, reflection, and reference only — they do NOT constitute any financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
At your own risk：We do not process your trades or hold your funds. Any trading decisions you make in real financial markets, and the consequences, are your sole responsibility. CortexAlpha bears no legal liability for any direct or indirect financial loss.
Service description & account security
Service access：We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service.
Account custody：You are responsible for safeguarding your account email and password. All activity conducted through your account (including AI compute quota consumed) is your responsibility.
Reasonable use：You may not use automation scripts, scrapers, or other means to maliciously consume CortexAlpha's API resources. Once detected, we reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without prior notice.
Subscription, payment & refund policy
Plans：CortexAlpha offers free and several paid passes / subscription plans (such as Pro, Super, etc.). Specific entitlements follow the page description at purchase.
Payment processing：Your payment is processed by trusted third-party payment gateways. We do not directly touch or store your full credit card or payment account password.
Refund policy：Because the Service is an instantly-delivered digital software and AI compute service, once purchased and provisioned, refunds are typically not supported. If within 24 hours of payment you encounter an unresolvable technical fault that prevents use, contact us via the support email and we will handle it at our discretion.
Intellectual property
All code, UI design, AI prompt engineering, trademarks, and website content of CortexAlpha are protected by intellectual property law. Without explicit written permission, you may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or sell any part of our Service.
Service interruption & termination
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or permanently terminate part or all of the Service at any time. If we decide to permanently terminate the Service, we will notify you in advance via email and allow you reasonable time to export your personal journal data.
